A One-of-a-Kind Dark Boudoir Studio in Seattle

(Designed, Not Built)

This is not a Wayfair / Amazon-built studio, and it’s not a rented space used by dozens of photographers.

Our dark boudoir studio in Seattle was intentionally designed by a photographer with a background in interior design, where every piece is hand-selected to photograph beautifully, layer effortlessly, and transform into multiple custom sets.

No two sessions look the same—because no two people are the same.

The dark studio space is full of deep gem tones and various textures that add to the whole experience.

A Seattle Boudoir Studio That Isn’t Cookie-Cutter

Most boudoir studios are designed to look good once—and photographed the same way over and over again. I set out to for this studio to be designed differently. With a background in interior design, every item in our Seattle boudoir studio is chosen for:

Texture that photographs beautifully

Scale that flatters real bodies

Flexibility to create multiple sets in one session

This is a custom-built creative space, not a catalog-styled room.

Designed by a Photographer with an Interior Design Background

Unlike studios assembled from mass-produced décor, this space was curated by a photographer with a professional background in interior design.

That means every detail—from furniture to fabrics to lighting—was chosen with intention:

  • Pieces that layer for different moods

  • Neutral foundations that allow dramatic shifts

  • Statement items that photograph differently from every angle

This allows us to create entirely different sets for each client, all within the same Seattle boudoir studio.

Multiple Custom Sets — One Boudoir Session

Because the studio is designed to be modular and layered, we can create multiple distinct boudoir sets in a single session:

  • Dark and moody

  • Soft and romantic

  • Editorial and dramatic

  • Minimal and modern

Your images will never look like someone else’s—because the set is styled specifically for you.

Not a Mass-Produced Studio Space

This is not a studio filled with fast-furniture or trend-based décor.

It’s a thoughtfully curated space built with:

  • Vintage and artisan pieces

  • Textures that age beautifully on camera

  • Design elements chosen to elevate, not distract

The result is a luxury boudoir studio in Seattle that feels editorial, intimate, and timeless.

There was a moment in my life when I wanted to pursue interior decorating. Life sort of got in the way and I had to take a step back. I don’t regret any of it. I still have that urge to design a space and the dark studio really allows me to express my love of the maximalist style. I can add layers like a painting and really manipulate light up there.
